Envera specializes in development of simple mechanical design solutions where reliability and low manufacturing cost are essential.  We specialize in variable compression ratio engine technology and other technologies for improving automotive fuel economy.

In addition to client programs, the US Department of Energy and three of the US National Laboratories have funded concept studies, engine build, vehicle installation and testing of our VCR engine technology.  Advantages of the Envera VCR system include a very rugged and robust structure for gasoline and highly boosted diesel applications; near-term commercial potential; and favorable production cost.
